06 - week six
WEEK SIX
Sunday starts with more aches and pains than you might be used to. Florence patched people up after Saturday’s lesson, sure, but it’s not a complete cure - not to mention it doesn’t ease the sting of betrayal. Some classmates that you thought would cooperate wound up breaking your trust in the end, and this week will be interesting with the fallout.
It’s hard to say what this week will have in store otherwise. Things are changing, and it’s not clear what this means for all of you. On the bright side, however, the creatures and places you once knew from home have suddenly disappeared, so that's less that you need to worry about. There are new areas for you to look at as well.

WEDNESDAY
investigation groupie ~ electronics store
The hardest part, however? Reprogramming the chip itself and retrofitting ... stuff. ]
Alright, I believe we should start with retrofitting the card reader we managed to swipe from the store, first?
Unfortunately, technology like this isn't really my strong suit, so I will be leaving this to the experts.
[ Downloading the software onto the computer they've taken is, once again, probably the easiest part.
But at least they've got ideas on how to proceed forward. ]

[But he has magitech and like... he knows which way to plug in a USB port by now, so, they'll machete through this somehow.
Here's hoping they're not getting themselves on so many Camellia watchlists looking for this software online, but here goes.]

...the software is a paid thing, but with a free one-week trial. So after ~15 minutes, the download will be successful!
Before they can gain full access to it, however, there's a prompt asking for a login. They also have the option to make an account. ]

He spends a lot of Wednesday morning in the tea house. He's spending a lot of time just... just kind of sniffing the tea and squinting at it. He event eats a bit, making a face before putting the tea back on the shelf. He's inspecting every container like this, before repeating while narrowing down on his... choices.
Once his choice is made he squirrels the tea off to the kitchen of the teahouse, where he sets about... baking. The butter, sugar, and flour are still fine and there's plenty to go around, so after little effort he will produce shortbread! He even makes a second batch with the tea he deemed acceptable. Next step is dipping some in chocolate before boxing some up and leaving the rest for people to eat - but people are also free to step in while this is happening.
His next stop is the clay cafe, where he paints a few cups and plates. He is surprisingly meticulous for who he is as a person, but his art skills are only... passable. But it's fine, because if anyone insults them he's not afraid to start a fight. He lives most of his pieces at the shop to dry or to be finished later, but he makes sure to box one up and take it with him before he returns to campus.
He takes a very quick stop to the cafeteria kitchen as well, and then he's off to the dorms.]
closed to gentaro;
[Good evening. Things might seem a bit off this evening when you return to your dorm.
Mostly because Owen is in it, frowning at the kettle as it heats water. He glances up when the door opens, but offers absolutely zero explanation for why he's there. This is just happening, now. He also has a few nondescript cardboard boxes with him, for some reason?]

Gentaro's got a couple of books tucked under his arm, and when he steps inside, he looks somewhat alarmed. Mostly, he's confused for several reasons. Chief of which being-- ]
How in the world did you get in here?

He is surprised, except being surprised means he's trying to twist and drive his elbow into Hien's gut.

not that it matters to owen, probably, as sabo catches him in the middle of sniffing the various teas. ]
You could try combining them yourself if they're loose leaf teas.
no subject
They are.
[He is going to eat a few more because nobody can stop him.]
Don't recognize any of these plants, though. They don't even have glowberry tea here.

this is why people will find shizuku at the tea house, still a little shaken at first but slowly relaxing throughout the day. it looks like she's been there for quite a bit though.
eventually, she'll leave to look around a little bit more. in the supermarket she's getting a better look at things- like the soda garden- and sighing disappointedly at something? huh. but the smell of bad produce will eventually be too much and she's out.
then it's back to something usual for her- sitting in the courtyard, one of her instruments in hand as she plays a gentle song. )
courtyard
I thought you just sing, didn't know you play instruments too.

( she's got an acoustic guitar, a kalimba and a (nerfed) magic harp now... quite the range! but she thinks it's exciting. )

Sooo, whatcha drinking?
no subject
( she'll uncap the tea pot so he can take a sniff, if he's so inclined. there's a faintly sweet floral scent. )
It's a jasmine oolong tea. If you want, I'm more than willing to share.
supermarket
He’s taking his time looking around at everything too, when he hears a sigh as he turns into a new aisle and right before he spots Shizuku. ]
Ah, Shizuku. Something wrong?
no subject
( shizuku smiles before almost pouting at the aisle before her. )
I woke up craving my favorite food, but it doesn't seem like there's anything similar to it here.

Wonder how much junk we got this time.
[ sometimes it's junk, but sometimes it's fun stuff. sometimes ... well. there are very important things. he grabs one of the boxes that's addressed to him and sits on the bed cross-legged.
also, surprise. he's starting to wear normal clothes more regularly this week. it's a mystery what shirt he has on, since he has the hoodie slipped over him, but he's wearing one of the pairs of jeans they grabbed. ]

regardless, given the stuff that sabo got from this week's dice rolls..... he's just going to notice the sprayonnaise with the utmost tired look possible. he also doesn't miss the additional butt pillows. ]
What are we going to do with three of these now?
