06 - week six

WEEK SIX

Sunday starts with more aches and pains than you might be used to. Florence patched people up after Saturday’s lesson, sure, but it’s not a complete cure - not to mention it doesn’t ease the sting of betrayal. Some classmates that you thought would cooperate wound up breaking your trust in the end, and this week will be interesting with the fallout.

It’s hard to say what this week will have in store otherwise. Things are changing, and it’s not clear what this means for all of you. On the bright side, however, the creatures and places you once knew from home have suddenly disappeared, so that's less that you need to worry about. There are new areas for you to look at as well.

They're very bitter, and a little bit sweet and a little salty.

And they make you glow, even as a tea. It's good for helping with sleep.

salty berry. then of course—there's the strange juxtaposition between "oh hey you can glow but also it is good for sneeps". LIKE?? ]

Only a few hours, I think? I've never been awake the whole time, why would I know?

cook themselves?? ??? i'm having a strange mental image here and are these two about to ""compete"" in an unspoken "wow your world sure is somethin'" contest of sorts? not that either one of them are winning regardless of the result. ]

Doesn't that concern you? I imagine you likely drink them somewhere safe but if you are with someone else... Doesn't it bother them?

Hey, none of their food gives people magic powers!! Just, you know. Sometimes there are pumpkins that can walk and think and that want nothing more than to cook themselves for consumption... That's normal...]

Why would I care if it bothers them or not? They can just close their eyes.

i'm in tears and every time i come back to re-read that bit with the pumpkin i have flashbacks to sausage party. but this is fine? there's an archipelago in one piece that are made up of the souls of people so everything looks like this. ]

I guess that's true, too. [ he laughs and sets aside the tea he was sniffing. ] Unfortunately, I don't think we're going to find anything quite like what you're looking for. Would you be open to trying something else?

We could probably manage a sweet and spicy tea with what's here.
