WEEK SIX

Sunday starts with more aches and pains than you might be used to. Florence patched people up after Saturday’s lesson, sure, but it’s not a complete cure - not to mention it doesn’t ease the sting of betrayal. Some classmates that you thought would cooperate wound up breaking your trust in the end, and this week will be interesting with the fallout.

It’s hard to say what this week will have in store otherwise. Things are changing, and it’s not clear what this means for all of you. On the bright side, however, the creatures and places you once knew from home have suddenly disappeared, so that's less that you need to worry about. There are new areas for you to look at as well.

I'll note again that this isn't exactly my strong suit. This may not be a quick process.

[But he has magitech and like... he knows which way to plug in a USB port by now, so, they'll machete through this somehow.

Here's hoping they're not getting themselves on so many Camellia watchlists looking for this software online, but here goes.]

[He's definitely not the best when it comes to tech here so he's kind of just along for the ride, but he does have the second keycard he swiped that he's donating to the cause. ...Also he has a robot arm he swiped from the Camellia facility with him because who knows, maybe Phantom or Xingqiu can figure out a use for it??? Or they can use it to beat away anyone from Camellia if they figure out they're doing this, who knows (I say like he isn't carrying around a pointy shovel).]

[ They're probably on their watchlist already, in fairness. 🥲 But Phantom goes for the download, and...

...the software is a paid thing, but with a free one-week trial. So after ~15 minutes, the download will be successful!

Before they can gain full access to it, however, there's a prompt asking for a login. They also have the option to make an account. ]

Oh look at that...I'm not sure what it's asking for, exactly. How do we proceed forward next?

[Phantom's clicking on the option to make a new one and offering it over to the two of them. Phantom can take a look at the card reader while they're coming up with something Artistic.]

None of this information should matter, as long as you put in something we can remember. It's likely just to track the usage.

[ Fido set up successful! It'll prompt you to log in with your new username and password, and once that's done...well, welcome to the home page. The interface is relatively user friendly at least, though it'll require an actual organization (i.e. Camellia) to link the Fido account to. What organization are you guys part of today? ]

[There's no way it would be that easy, right? Phantom raises an eyebrow but he's going to try to do it.]

I wonder if it would notify them, if it allows this.

It's possible, but there would be no purpose in this if we didn't get access to their version of the software.

[Then again it's not like he knows how this stuff really works so maybe anything else would do? Eh. Whatever, they can deal with it.]

[ Alright, Camellia it is.

The name registers and the layout changes to match the brand of the company itself. There are buttons on the left: Staff Assignments and a Card Dashboard are probably the two most relevant to you. ]

Oh, I believe this part may be easy. I think Card Dashboard would work for us?

[ ... Though having a look see about Staff Assignments would probably be good too, huh. ]

I agree. Though if they're willing to casually disclose this information to anyone, we might find something of interest. I suppose there's no reason staff assignments wouldn't be public.

[Let's see what the card dashboard has! The other part is probably something the two of them can go through while Phantom's doing any Engineering he may need to do.]

[ Card Dashboard has a few buttons: One that'll show where the swipe locations are, the option to make a new card (though that would require a blank one), and one for recalibrating the card itself. ]

Looks like there are things of interest here.

First we check out the swipe locations? Then there's something about recalibrating the card...

I wonder if this will give us some kind of map.

[Locations first, optimistically. Because they're definitely going to succeed at this card attempt or else just have Marcus 1v1 all doors]

[ There is, indeed, a map! It shows all the entrances that the Camellia group has explored so far, but it also gives an overview of where the entrances are on the upper floors. Sadly, I am mobile and cannot make one right now, but they're generally needed for elevator access to the higher floors and random office doors within. Including Dr. Juniper's office! ]

Look at that. It's definitely a map of some kind.

Now, we can take a peak right over at the Staff information as well...

[ When he notes where Dr. Juniper's office is, he feels like they are on their way to jackpot! ]

How obliging of them. It might be a little too optimistic to get to that office on our first attempt, but I think that should be our main goal.

[Phantom hopes his gang of plucky dangerous teenagers is taking notes. Onto staff information!]

[Actually, one more question for the map: given that a couple of the upper floors were marked as classified in the Camellia facility, does this map actually say what the names of those floors are too?]

I suppose that would be the easiest way to get the information we need.

[Them and Hien's stash of like 50 truth serums.]

[ Staffing information provides a list of, well, Camellia staff, as well as their level of clearance. (Kyle is on there as one of the lower clearance employees.) There are a lot of people, though, and there aren't very many with a high level of clearance.

Most notable in those ranks are Dr. Juniper, of course, and Lorelei.

As for the classified floors, no, there are no names shown for those. They're still labeled as classified. ]

Alright, I believe we've located the information we're looking for...I believe we should probably find a way to assign the keycard a higher level of clearance according to the higher-level employees.

Someone might notice if we chose Juniper, though. So maybe someone like Lorelei or close to her level...
