06 - week six
WEEK SIX
Sunday starts with more aches and pains than you might be used to. Florence patched people up after Saturday’s lesson, sure, but it’s not a complete cure - not to mention it doesn’t ease the sting of betrayal. Some classmates that you thought would cooperate wound up breaking your trust in the end, and this week will be interesting with the fallout.
It’s hard to say what this week will have in store otherwise. Things are changing, and it’s not clear what this means for all of you. On the bright side, however, the creatures and places you once knew from home have suddenly disappeared, so that's less that you need to worry about. There are new areas for you to look at as well.
SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY
FLORENCE / LORELEI

The Card Dashboard is asking for an employee name, though. What will you do? ]

[ So, better idea than Lorelei or Juniper, in his opinion. Because the other two have like, good points here. ]
Let's use one of the other employee's names too.

[Phantom will just plug in one of the Jupiter-tier employee names if it lets him! How obliging are you, little program.]

deaddisappeared. But also because he has to be a wet blanket:]Hopefully that extends to those at the top, then.
[because frankly it wouldn't surprise him if most of the higher-ups just left the rest of the employees to flounder as they hid in a bunker or something...]

...Then, a prompt comes up that asks for a passcode. A 5-digit one, to be exact. Looks like there's more security on this software than it seems. ]

What's this?
[ Look, computers do not exist in Genshin
as far as we/I knowso he has no idea what he's looking at here. ]no subject
A code of some kind. Like a key. It appears to be five digits long. If it's a random number, going through all the possibilities would take some time...
[But most people or systems wouldn't use a random number, would they? Hm...]
Have either of you seen anything like that? I wonder if it's a date. The time we were brought here would have significance to us, but perhaps not to them. The other project they proposed...? That only had a year on the flyer.

I have. But it was a recent date.
[So it’s a long shot but he’s just going to reach over and punch in 08925.]

There are a lot of options but one that may be of interest is the Card Reassignment option for this particular executive. The steps are pretty easy and can be handwaved, though the final prompt will give them an "Are you sure?" kind of warning. ]

He gives Shin an approving nod because good job, mate. ]
You did well.
Okay, let's get this over with, shall we?
[ Because he's damn well sure, let's goooo ]

Where did you get that number from? For it to be used as the code here, it must be important.
[Months before they arrived, huh.]

I found it on the fourth floor of the Camellia building, which was designated as the R&D section. There were some surveys I found relating to the effects of strengthened emotions, and one of them asked the participants how they coped. That one was dated to 08/925.
[He also took it with him but it's probably sitting in his dorm room, so!!]
