06 - week six
WEEK SIX
Sunday starts with more aches and pains than you might be used to. Florence patched people up after Saturday’s lesson, sure, but it’s not a complete cure - not to mention it doesn’t ease the sting of betrayal. Some classmates that you thought would cooperate wound up breaking your trust in the end, and this week will be interesting with the fallout.
It’s hard to say what this week will have in store otherwise. Things are changing, and it’s not clear what this means for all of you. On the bright side, however, the creatures and places you once knew from home have suddenly disappeared, so that's less that you need to worry about. There are new areas for you to look at as well.

FLORENCE / LORELEI

[Gross.]
Don’t be so wishy-washy and just say it’s my choice.

[ He laughs. ]
Do whatever you like.

[ He leans against the nearest counter. ]
Do tell.

[me, sighing deeply at owen]

[ He's not gonna argue with Owen on any of that, so he'll just take the compliment. ]
You have a nice face and powerful magic too.
[ He can't reasonably call Owen tall... ]
no subject
[He’s not short, though!!]
Those are much more charming than being wishy-washy. That might actually be your least charming trait.
no subject
Hmm, I think there's a few people who would agree with you on that.
[ Or most people. But he'll go with a few. ]
no subject
Who would disagree with me?
[he wants names, dammit.]
no subject
[ Look, he doesn't have name, but he's sure they totally exist. Definitely. ]
no subject
[They absolutely don't exist.]
no subject
Fine. He'll concede by changing the subject. ]
So, are you going to tell me why you're really baking cookies? Or are you making them solely for yourself?
[ It seems like Owen has made enough to share, so... ]
no subject
Because I wanted to. It's not like I can eat any of the things that's already been made anyways.
[That's not an answer, but it's the answer Fai's getting.]
no subject
An entire briefcase of it.
no subject
Well, there's a lot of sugar here, too, because nobody's come here yet. So that's all that it is.
[obvs]
And you got to eat some, so it's good I'm making a lot, right?
no subject
[ He smiles. ]
First you're nice to me in my memories, and now I see you making cookies for everyone just because you feel like it. You have a lot more to you than I ever would have expected.
no subject
That wasn't very nice of you, to think I'm just a one-dimensional monster. Why were you expecting me to be so terrible that even baking is something strange? How cruel, Fai.
no subject
I never thought you were a one-dimensional monster. Someone who likes to look for reactions from people, but nothing like a monster. I think you have more sides to you than even you're aware of, is all.
[ ... ]
Besides, I like you enough that even if you were a one-dimensional monster, I wouldn't care.
