WEEK SIX

Sunday starts with more aches and pains than you might be used to. Florence patched people up after Saturday’s lesson, sure, but it’s not a complete cure - not to mention it doesn’t ease the sting of betrayal. Some classmates that you thought would cooperate wound up breaking your trust in the end, and this week will be interesting with the fallout.

It’s hard to say what this week will have in store otherwise. Things are changing, and it’s not clear what this means for all of you. On the bright side, however, the creatures and places you once knew from home have suddenly disappeared, so that's less that you need to worry about. There are new areas for you to look at as well.

[ When Hien feels good enough after all that pain, Florence's healing, and whatnot, he goes to explore the new areas.

First is an investigation at the supermarket. He heard from Fai that there was a person in here, so he tries to find him in the back room first.

Otherwise, he'll be at the home improvement store, looking at the large selection of wood he can cut with a handsaw that he has in his hands. Sorry that he looks menacing, but at least he looks approachable with the university cozy sweater he got on despite it being summer-like? ]

[ Unfortunately nobody seems to be back here, but there are some organized stacks of food with papers on them! And an abandoned blanket fort. ]

Hien looks over at the organized stacks of food and wonders if he can take them with him... Anyway, he grabs the paper to see what's written on it. ]

[ A lot of them are food pyramids made out of canned goods and cereal boxes. The paper shows that they're orders to be sent to Estelline University, picked up by Gregory, and requested by Lorelei.

The date is early 5/926 - around a week before you arrived. ]

[ This seems to track with what Fai told him, so he isn't particularly surprised. Also something about how he'd do his job if it weren't for the weird fog, but Hien wouldn't be surprised if he bolted out first thing. Thanks for all the pineapples, dude.

Hien goes to see if there's anything interesting in the blanket fort. Maybe an apocalyptic journal of some sort? He wonders if he should get a DNA sample... ]

[ There is some kind of journal, yes! When Hien peeks in it, there are a lot of notes concerned about Kyle - otherwise there isn't much else of note here. No pun intended. ]

[ Being around Hien has been weird since the whole memory thing. Miach knows full well that he did not actually save her and definitely has not improved her life in any permanent way, but she remembers how it felt to suddenly be safe. Ugh.

That said, she'll do her best to not acknowledge this. Or the events of this weekend, really. ]
