06 - week six
WEEK SIX
Sunday starts with more aches and pains than you might be used to. Florence patched people up after Saturday’s lesson, sure, but it’s not a complete cure - not to mention it doesn’t ease the sting of betrayal. Some classmates that you thought would cooperate wound up breaking your trust in the end, and this week will be interesting with the fallout.
It’s hard to say what this week will have in store otherwise. Things are changing, and it’s not clear what this means for all of you. On the bright side, however, the creatures and places you once knew from home have suddenly disappeared, so that's less that you need to worry about. There are new areas for you to look at as well.

That said, she'll do her best to not acknowledge this. Or the events of this weekend, really. ]
Is that really something that matters when making one?

[ Hien sounds the same as ever, since he put the betrayal behind him. He personally doesn't care about it—it was just Owen that pissed him off because he was gloating. ]
Was thinking about making it for a gift.

For Fai? Or has someone else caught your eye?

... ]
No, it's for Phantom's birthday.
[ He thinks about how he'd probably like something smaller. Hm... ]
You want something too? I can try making it for you.
no subject
... oh right, that's today.
[ The birthday info is definitely the part of the profiles she has memorized the least. ]
No thanks, I'm good. I do wonder if Phantom is the bird-watching type though...
no subject
Though that makes him think. ]
I feel like he'd be to type to get bullied by birds instead... okay, maybe not a birdhouse. Have you ever seen him read books?
no subject
Yes, he seems to enjoy it. There's a delightful number of avid readers in this place, really.

[ Though Hien now has some proficiency with Estelline language from... gasp—studying. He can read and write but he has no idea how the words sound or anything. ]
Did you read anything interesting during your stay here? Heard there were some... interesting philosophy books.

I don't think you can quite imagine my disappointment at arriving in a world that seems so different from my own only to be fed the same drivel about avoiding strong emotions for the sake of sustainable coexistence...
It comes from a very different place, of course, but it is only too familiar at its core.

[ Hm. He'll drop the present topic for now. ]
Don't you just wanna go apeshit on them instead?

[ Here, there, it doesn't matter. She wants to spit in the face of boundless compassion, she wants to run a knife through minimalism and repression. ]
It's really too bad that the knowledge of multiple universes has made me want to live on for a little bit, otherwise I'd have done something drastic weeks ago.

Hien reaches out to grab an average sized metalhead hammer and holds it out to Miach. ]
Take it. It'll be useful later.
[ disclaimer: idk what's happening in the future but Hien thinks even a frail girl like Miach can use a hammer like this. It killed him before when he could still die at some point. ]
Also if you ever wanna start fires and shit, I'll help provide the materials.
[ Like he did for the truth serum... ]
