02 - week two

WEEK TWO

When the glitter settles and everyone returns to their dorms - or wherever they intend to sleep for the night, if you’re planning on sleeping at all - your first week of school officially ends. Perhaps it was better than you expected, perhaps it was worse.

Hopefully you learned a bit more about teamwork and school spirit.

Still, this course is going to run for longer than a full week, and come Sunday morning you’re still exactly as you were when you settled down for the night. Still in Estelline, still with that mark on your wrist, still connected to your partner. There are some changes, though. The bookstore has received quite a few books, and those of you who added to the bulletin board and pep rally tasks in the first week will find an envelope taped to their dorm door (or themselves, if they spent the night elsewhere). Inside of the envelope is some kind of voucher! Furthermore, the common area is covered in a bunch of glitter.

Also, there are a ton of eggs in the kitchen – at least 10 dozens.

Florence or Lorelei are still available, should you wish to speak to them.

Finally, you've got some new locations to explore.

OOC NOTE

OOC: Anyone who performed in the Pep Rally (Sabo, Madara, Riku, Shizuku, Herlock, Idia, Flat, Miach) task will be able to redeem a voucher for a prize with one of the NPCs. This can be handwaved, and the prize selection is below.

-Single-serve coffee machine wither a selection of creamer. Comes with packs of coffee beans.
-Popcorn maker and kernels.
-High-quality tea kettle with a selection of just as high-quality tea.
-Carbonation machine (think Sodastream, etc) with flavored syrup.

Any coffee, tea, popcorn, etc. will last characters up to two weeks.

Anyone who participated in the Bulletin Board task will receive a voucher for your choice of two pairs colorful socks with cute animal designs. (Worry frog design available.)

[ bruh, he'll kick it again on purpose to make both of their feet sore. it's one thing if sabo says that he's incapable of winning at something and another thing if ace says it. if only because it sounds like a light ribbing even though they are both on the same wavelength. ]

and now sabo will bang his ankle against the machine in an oh-so-gently way which results in a decently loud bang. enjoy that as well. obviously he isn't doing anything that will cause either of them long lasting pain but if ace wants to be a shit then sabo is just as bad. ]

[ and cue sabo going to lean against the machine as ace has his crack at the machine. ]

[ ace raises his fist and draws it back. and he's about to slam his fist into the glass when he stops.

no recklessness. what hurts him, hurts sabo... and then he just lightly bumps the glass. that's how he planned to "win" pretty fast. ]

How long were you trying at this?

[ IT'S TEMPERED GLASS YOU DUMB BITCH...

well sabo will watch ace take aim and nearly punch the glass with his bare fist without moving an inch or saying anything to stop him. if ace was going to break his hand and have that pain mirrored in sabo then fine. can't say he isn't proud that ace doesn't actually break his hand on the glass. ]

About maybe over thirty minutes?

but he was good and trying to be his best to not hurt sabo more than worrying about his own hand. ]

[ good luck with that ace. sabo will just be here vibing silently as he watches ace mess with the claw machine. ]

[ he'll continue to complain while he's trying to get things from the claw machine.

and maybe, out of sheer luck, after a handful he manages to get one of those cute little puppies in there. (rolled 19.) ]

and even though ace's luck seems to be doing him favors for the moment, sabo isn't going to start praising him for it just yet. things looked good for him too a few times before things just immediately imploded. how long is this gonna go well for him, hmm? ]

[ well, it doesn't look well for him on this when he tries to get it and the thing drops out of the claw grip. ]

Well, that's yet to be seen.

[ if anyone is thinking that sabo won't look smug when the claw's grip fails then they don't know how petty he can be. ...towards ace, anyway, and only about a select number of things. ]

[ what a complete shitlord. but ace absolutely deserves it after ribbing at sabo, too. ]

[ his attempts still aren't going great, though. time is ticking and he's caught the edges of some of the creatures, or nudged them a bit. ]

[ the pressure is on. it really is getting down to the wire now. ]
