02 - week two

WEEK TWO

When the glitter settles and everyone returns to their dorms - or wherever they intend to sleep for the night, if you’re planning on sleeping at all - your first week of school officially ends. Perhaps it was better than you expected, perhaps it was worse.

Hopefully you learned a bit more about teamwork and school spirit.

Still, this course is going to run for longer than a full week, and come Sunday morning you’re still exactly as you were when you settled down for the night. Still in Estelline, still with that mark on your wrist, still connected to your partner. There are some changes, though. The bookstore has received quite a few books, and those of you who added to the bulletin board and pep rally tasks in the first week will find an envelope taped to their dorm door (or themselves, if they spent the night elsewhere). Inside of the envelope is some kind of voucher! Furthermore, the common area is covered in a bunch of glitter.

Also, there are a ton of eggs in the kitchen – at least 10 dozens.

Florence or Lorelei are still available, should you wish to speak to them.

Finally, you've got some new locations to explore.

OOC NOTE

OOC: Anyone who performed in the Pep Rally (Sabo, Madara, Riku, Shizuku, Herlock, Idia, Flat, Miach) task will be able to redeem a voucher for a prize with one of the NPCs. This can be handwaved, and the prize selection is below.

-Single-serve coffee machine wither a selection of creamer. Comes with packs of coffee beans.
-Popcorn maker and kernels.
-High-quality tea kettle with a selection of just as high-quality tea.
-Carbonation machine (think Sodastream, etc) with flavored syrup.

Any coffee, tea, popcorn, etc. will last characters up to two weeks.

Anyone who participated in the Bulletin Board task will receive a voucher for your choice of two pairs colorful socks with cute animal designs. (Worry frog design available.)

and even though ace's luck seems to be doing him favors for the moment, sabo isn't going to start praising him for it just yet. things looked good for him too a few times before things just immediately imploded. how long is this gonna go well for him, hmm? ]

Yet, you're still playing the game.

[ well, it doesn't look well for him on this when he tries to get it and the thing drops out of the claw grip. ]

Of course, I can't ignore a chance to show you up.

Well, that's yet to be seen.

[ if anyone is thinking that sabo won't look smug when the claw's grip fails then they don't know how petty he can be. ...towards ace, anyway, and only about a select number of things. ]

[ what a complete shitlord. but ace absolutely deserves it after ribbing at sabo, too. ]

I still have plenty of time.

[ his attempts still aren't going great, though. time is ticking and he's caught the edges of some of the creatures, or nudged them a bit. ]

That's what it always seems like in the beginning.

[ if sabo is supposed to be nicer about this or more supportive; it'll come after the thirty minute mark where they'll be on the equal playing field. ]

[ as the time ticks closer to the thirty minute mark, ace isn't as cocky as he was. this is harder than it looks!! ]

[ sabo prob left his side for a moment to grab a snack and is munching on it. ]

[ wow, rude, getting something and not giving ace anything? ]

I'll get it eventually. I think you're just trying to be distracting with that snack.

[ the pressure is on. it really is getting down to the wire now. ]

[ fine, he'll offer a chip to ace—if he doesn't mind being fed by sabo in this manner. especially with his comment. ]

Am I? I didn't realize you could be so easily distracted.

[ fine, he'll take the chip as it's offered and fed to him. good thing he isn't about to bite sabo's fingers for his snark. ]

he's just going to keep looking smug and offer another chip to ace. ]

Maybe you should work on that.

[ fine, if they're doing this, he's going to let sabo feed him while he's trying to master this dumb machine. ]

[ he complained so sabo is just doing whatever a good brother would do. probably. ]
