06 - week six
WEEK SIX
Sunday starts with more aches and pains than you might be used to. Florence patched people up after Saturday’s lesson, sure, but it’s not a complete cure - not to mention it doesn’t ease the sting of betrayal. Some classmates that you thought would cooperate wound up breaking your trust in the end, and this week will be interesting with the fallout.
It’s hard to say what this week will have in store otherwise. Things are changing, and it’s not clear what this means for all of you. On the bright side, however, the creatures and places you once knew from home have suddenly disappeared, so that's less that you need to worry about. There are new areas for you to look at as well.
SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY
FLORENCE / LORELEI

FLORENCE / LORELEI

[Is it really "we", though?]
There may be more interference with the project, and I...
[...
They trail off.]
no subject
he'll raise an eyebrow as they trail off. ]
Florence?
no subject
[Anyways!]
Do you have any more questions or experiences you would like to share, Mr. Sabo?
no subject
[ hes not gonna let that go??? ]
...and does Camellia have good intentions? The exhibit they have in the museum seems like a show of propaganda, but I found some stuff that made it looked like they were also trying to warn people about the orbs.
no subject
[just trust them, bro.]
That I do not know for certain, nor do I know if good intentions are enough to make their actions - or Lorelei's - good in the eyes of those of you being putting under a lens. Objective things like that are not my strong suit.
no subject
Fair enough.
[ it is a response that requires some emotion in it so let's see if he can find a better way to phrase it. hmmm. ]
Objectively speaking, do either of them truly have the public in mind or are they after whatever answer that they seek personally?
no subject
If I were to say… it may be a combination of both.
no subject
[ dislike this option!!! but also fair given the complexity of things. black, white, gray... why do so many things exist in gray. ]
In equal measures? I doubt there's an objective way to decide which is worse than the other other than by being blatantly obvious about it.
[ which sadly has not been the case?? ]
no subject
Yes, though I believe that may also end up a matter of opinion in the end even if one has more blatant methods or motivations... It is not something I can pass judgement on.
no subject
Understandable. Unless there's a rubric of some sort that exists then it would be still vulnerable to bias.
[ and even then!!! sabo may not be Deep Into stuff like this but he is aware of enough things to understand this much. guess camellia will maintain its status of "villain" along with lorelei. joy.
though— ]
I know that Lorelei created you, but do you find yourself straying away from her influences? All of this discussion is something that you wished to do on your own, right?
no subject
This was my own decision, yes. I am allowed some measure of "independence", for lack of a better way to put it, to do things as I see fit.
[They are, after all, much more logical than a human could be.]
no subject
But why? Do you know what reasoning you used to decide speak to us about this at this moment?
no subject
It seemed overdue, and like you were looking for answers I may be able to provide anyways. Otherwise, why enter Camellia’s campus?
[That’s all!!!]
no subject
Logical enough and thank you for taking it upon yourself to deal with all of these questions.
[ of he says this just before he realizes there is probably something he should have checked with? ]
...there isn't any kind of danger or concern for handing off the tablet that was given to us upon arrival to someone other than us, is there?
no subject
…
[They’re not disappointed, clearly, but if they could be…
Or maybe they are disappointed. Maybe this is it. This is the moment.]
Do you trust the person you gave it to?
no subject
hmm.
it honestly be the best thing ever if kyle pulled a super fast one on sabo but he still doesn't think that kyle could tell a believable lie. so either he's the world's best actor or just what everyone has learned. ]
As much as I can trust anyone here.
no subject
Also, wow! What an incredible non-answer, Sabo.]
That could mean anything, Mr. Sabo. If you believe they may use the tablet for nefarious means, I could access it remotely…
no subject
I don't think he would use it for nefarious purposes; he didn't come off as that sort of person. However, the others here did mistreat him after I spoke with him.
[ so now sabo has no idea. :') ]
icon accurate in spirit but inaccurate otherwise
[There are probably dumber things he could have done. Probably.]
...It is hard to know what will come of this, but I will do what I can to remove anything you do not want Camellia to be aware of.
no subject
but even if the icon is inaccurate outside of the spirit, he can sense it. ]
Truthfully, I haven't made much use of the tablet. I mainly used it to help better understand the native language here.
[ but if florence wants to wipe it clean of data then they are more than welcomed to?? ]
no subject
[Those weren't free, y'know?]
no subject
[ probably??? also look. sabo may or may not routinely steal things for various reasons. ]
no subject
There is a detective, but. Herlock doesn't count.]
Do you want to ask for it back?
no subject
but, uh. ]
Should I ask for it back?
no subject
[Wow, what a complete non-answer!]
