After a positively thrilling game of the prisoner's dilemma, it's all over. Everyone needs to get patched up, recover and... hopefully not kill each other after everything. At some point in the cafeteria, Shizuku and Madara have taken over the kitchen- though help won't be denied completely- and leaving a large meal of noodles and whatever else they can still use from Fai and Shizuku's little shopping trip... not a lot of fresh food, but it works out. There's also plenty of coffee, a tea kettle and even hot chocolate ready. (Shizuku herself is using her ill-gotten tapioca balls for some homemade boba, hell yeah.) Team Idol may not stick around for long, but there's plenty to go around for now... and Shizuku will happily bring over some snacks from the convenience store too. And did you know that place has a milkshake machine? Because it does. Get you a milkshake, people.

But tensions are high after everything. Hopefully this doesn't become a murdergame.

[ Fai is... exhausted, to say the least. He drags himself (and Hien) over to Florence to get seen, so he's at least all bandaged up and taken care of by the time he makes his way over to the cafeteria.

He stays for a while, eating a bunch of noodles and whatever else Shizuku and Madara end up making. And he has some coffee too. If anyone else is near the little coffee station, he'll gesture to it. ]

[ And later on, Fai can be seen heading towards the dorms. He's got a tray in hand, filled with food and coffee. It's most definitely for Hien, because Fai is bringing food to him like the malewife he is. ]

[ Hien is in bed, and most decidedly trying not to move. ]

Fai... is that you...

[ he's under the blanket ]

Nope. It's an imposter!

[ He approaches the bed, food still in hand. ]

I brought some food for you.

That's a real nice imposter. Thanks.

[ Hien slowly sits up. ]

I was hoping to do things today, but I guess that's not happening.

What were you hoping to do?

[ He'll hand Hien the coffee first, in case he needs that. ]

[Phantom doesn't really want to be up. He most certainly doesn't want to see anyone. But he does, unfortunately, need food for Marcus. He's bandaged up and in one of his own cozy sweaters by the time he slinks to the cafeteria to find something. He makes a beeline for the coffee when he sees it, one-track mind enough to startle when Fai speaks.]

Well. I'm pleased I didn't have to make it.

[ Phantom is so kind, looking after Marcus!!

Fai grins, happy to see Phantom here too. ]

You can still pour me a cup if you want to!

Now you're concerned with letting me be useful?

[Grumbling... But he will reach for the cups to do that, though he's also looking around for Hien.]

Sure am!

[ He just laughs lightly as Phantom takes a cup. ]

If your looking for Hien, he's probably somewhere around the dorms.

No, I think that'd just give me a headache right now... How are you both doing? Hien sounded really rough. I was thinking something with honey might help him a little...

I've been better, but I'll be alright.

[ Although her idea makes him smile. ]

I think you should. That's something he would really appreciate.

Mm... do you know what tea he prefers? He didn't say anything about my choice last time, but I'd rather he feel as good after all that as possible.

Earl grey is his favorite.

[ And there were probably some boxes of tea of that at the supermarket, so they should have it! ]

He'll be really happy if you bring him that. [ He pauses. ] Although, I don't think he likes his tea with honey.

[Fai catches Madara on a very rare little break, when he's gone over to get himself one precious cup of coffee so he can stave of the adrenaline drop he's staring down.]

Oh, thanks! Don't mind if I do!

[partymagician]

[ Fai pours him a cup. ]

How do you like it? Creamer? Sugar?

[ Or totally plain? ]

[A little smile.]

Usually I like a tiiiny bit of sugar in it, but today I think I need to go with black.

[He gestures to all the food.]

I think I'll be doing dishes for a while.

[ He goes ahead and hands that mug of coffee over to Madara. ]

Thanks for all of this, by the way. It was sorely needed.

Oh, that's fine! I don't drink that much coffee.

[ he shakes his head, but instead tries to hand fai a milkshake! ]

Have you ever had one of these?

[ Fai takes the milkshake, looking at it incredulously. ]

I don't think so? What is it?

[ It looks like some kind of ice cream, but why is there a straw... ]

It's like a drink with milk and ice cream. It's called a milkshake!

[ he nudges it a little closer to fai on the counter ]

Its sweetness will make anyone feel better.

[ He eyes it some more, but then he takes it in hand to have a sip. ]

Ah... it's pretty good! I can see how this could put someone in a good mood.

[ Doesn't heal him physically, but maybe it can mentally. ]

If you're offering, how can I refuse?

[ Gentaro is significantly quieter, even for Gentaro. He's got a lot on his mind; the betrayals by his team sit uncomfortably with him, but he knows that when it comes down to it, there's no use in protesting. People will think what they think, and it's a waste of time and energy to convince them otherwise.

He understands, too--he's certainly not about to fault anyone for their feelings. So maybe he's a little more distant, too, giving Fai a polite smile. ]

[ Fai grabs him a cup. ]

How do you like your coffee?

[ That distant smile doesn't escape him, however, and he looks over at Gentaro with a smile as he pours. ]

Feeling alright?

Cream and sugar, but only a small amount. Less sugar than cream.

[ Geez, he's still getting used to people's concern. Gentaro crosses his arms over his chest in a gesture that could be mistaken for protectiveness.

Mistaken for. Right. ]

I admit, I've been better, but I've also been worse. And you?

[ The closed off body language... Fai is familiar with that, since he does it himself. He pours a small amount of cream into the coffee, adding just a pinch of sugar before stirring. ]

The same. I don't feel pain right now, but I can tell I'm quite injured.

[ He hands over the coffee. ]
