After a positively thrilling game of the prisoner's dilemma, it's all over. Everyone needs to get patched up, recover and... hopefully not kill each other after everything. At some point in the cafeteria, Shizuku and Madara have taken over the kitchen- though help won't be denied completely- and leaving a large meal of noodles and whatever else they can still use from Fai and Shizuku's little shopping trip... not a lot of fresh food, but it works out. There's also plenty of coffee, a tea kettle and even hot chocolate ready. (Shizuku herself is using her ill-gotten tapioca balls for some homemade boba, hell yeah.) Team Idol may not stick around for long, but there's plenty to go around for now... and Shizuku will happily bring over some snacks from the convenience store too. And did you know that place has a milkshake machine? Because it does. Get you a milkshake, people.

But tensions are high after everything. Hopefully this doesn't become a murdergame.

Fai smiles a little as he gathers up some noodles for Hien when he's done with the coffee. ]

Me too. I'm glad the game ended like that. I don't think I'd be standing if it went on too much longer.

... Yeah. I hope their data ends up inconclusive.

[ Even if that makes their suffering for nothing. ]

Because I didn't think there's any bonding out of that other than splitting us up. We're no longer unified.

[ He sighs. ]

So much for bonding, right? It's hard not to take something like that personally when it comes to how much pain a betrayal puts someone through.

... I'm not personally bothered by the betrayal. I don't think you were either.

[ It's just. Owen. ]

I think blue boy is even more furious, because Chongyun passed out.

[ Fai shakes his head. He wasn't bothered by the betrayal in and of itself. It was the smart thing for that team to do. ]

I can't blame him. Chongyun really suffered. I know he already has a difficult time with heat, so to have the electricity on top of that...

[ Rough. ]

Thankfully, we didn't get more consequences for not making it on time.

I was worried about that... I don't know if I could have handled anything else without passing out myself.

[ He's running on fumes right now, but those fumes are being used on taking care of Hien, so it's fine. ]

[ Hien was pretty sure he could handle it, since not even his body refuses to give up when it's all time, full time persistence. But he knows the rest aren't like him. None of them are. ]

It's okay. You did your best... and even now, you're still helping people.

[ As thanks, he eats the food Fai brought. ]

Well, I'm going to take care of my own boyfriend, first of all.

[ He'll feed Hien the food if he wants that... ]

I'd rather you take care of yourself.

[ So he takes a chunk of noodles and feeds Fai. ]

[ Fai tries to direct Hien's wrist back to his own mouth. Eat instead!! ]

I ate earlier, don't worry. Besides, I won't be able to rest until I've made sure you're taken care of.

[ Hien doesn't have the energy to spare to redirect that, so he just eats instead. ]

We can just take care of each other, you know. I won't have you working to the brink of passing out.

I think you took care of me plenty during the lesson.

[ So he's doing it back! ]

But if you really want to now, feel free to when I'm done feeding you.

[ And be his support after leg chomping, but. Yeah. ]

You sacrificed yourself so I wouldn't get burned.

[ Come on, Hien. Accept that much at least!

When the noodles are gone, Fai grabs one of the side dishes and starts feeding it to Hien too. ]

If you want to do more, then start thinking about what you want to do for me.

Don't make it sound so dramatic. I didn't sacrifice myself. Pain could have been avoided for some people, so that's exactly what I did.

[ Though he really felt his legs giving out with his feet injured too. Running with injured legs while carrying someone? Hien would. ]

[ He frowns as he practically shoves food into Hien's mouth. ]

I'm not being dramatic. You could barely walk, yet you ran with me in your arms.

Yeah, because it could be avoided for you. So I did what I c—

He slowly chews his food and swallows. ]

I'm used to enduring. It's my thing, so... it's fine.

[ Also the team was a mess as Luna dictated but only because they were full of "good" people. ]

Hien.

[ The way Fai says it is almost as a warning as he sets the food back down on the tray. ]

Let me appreciate what you did for me. I don't care that you can endure it. Let me thank you.

[ ...

Hien quietly sighs. ]

Alright.

[ So he just sits there because Fai put the food back on the tray... ]

[partymagician]

[ Fai takes Hien's chin with his fingertips, turning his head so that he's facing Fai before leaning forward onto the bed so he can give him a proper kiss. When he steps back, he smiles softly, still holding onto Hien's chin. ]

Good boy.

[ He lets go and picks up the food again. ]

Hien is internally keysmashing. First the chin, then the kiss, and now the "good boy"?? The freaking audacity of this man—

He bites onto whatever utensil Fai is using to feed him with. ]

[partymagician]

[ That makes Fai laugh—barely suppressing a coughing fit right after—as he wiggles the utensil around in Hien's mouth. It's probably a spoon? Who knows! ]

Awww, don't be mad. I'm praising you.

[ There's something like a deep low growl. He certainly didn't take it as praise. ]

[ He smiles. ]

Mad at me? I didn't do anything!
