Now that they have all weathered that storm, it's time to do some recuperating! After storing some of the fruit (likely with Shizuku's help), Fai has decided to cut all of it up and lay it out in a neat little array on a table in the cafeteria. He liked the coffee and tea station last week, so he decides to set another one up for this week too. Fai has also set out some bread, butter, and a toaster—hopefully there's an outlet nearby—for people to make themselves some toast! They could all use a nice little (late) breakfast after all of that.

And if anyone wants to bring some of that crab and fish they caught? Well, the more the merrier!

Then, Fai sends out a quick text for everyone to come enjoy some fruit and coffee in the cafeteria.

Like doing something absurdly grand for something I find to be the right thing to do, but you'll probably hate it.

[ He shrugs, since he won't know how the future unfolds. ]

[ At the end of the day, Fai doesn’t have much influence on Hien anyway. ]

...Then I'll call you a bad boy and move on from it.

Wow... I thought you'd hold that against me.

[ He sways Fai a little side to side. ]

Well, I don't control you, nor would I want to. I knew about your tendencies going into this.

[ And his past record when it comes to looking past these things tells Fai that he could probably continue to do so.

It isn't like Hien is necessarily bound by human morals anyway. ]

Huh...

[ He knew it was possible, but to have it be told to his face... ]

[ He rests his forehead on Fai's shoulder. ]

... Really.

[ His life has always been about control, and how people wanted power over him. It gets exhausting really fast. ]

[ He squeezes Hien's hand. ]

I'd like to think you wouldn't want to control me either, so it's much the same. So... you can talk to me, and even if I do try to tell you not to do something, I understand that you'll ultimately make the decision.

[ It's why he has a knee-jerk reaction most of the time about being tamed or the implications behind words that have a similar meaning. ]

As long as you're expecting that, I think... it'll be fine.

[ He quietly breathes out, cleans the plate free of food, and gets up. ]
