06 - week six

WEEK SIX
Sunday starts with more aches and pains than you might be used to. Florence patched people up after Saturday’s lesson, sure, but it’s not a complete cure - not to mention it doesn’t ease the sting of betrayal. Some classmates that you thought would cooperate wound up breaking your trust in the end, and this week will be interesting with the fallout.

It’s hard to say what this week will have in store otherwise. Things are changing, and it’s not clear what this means for all of you. On the bright side, however, the creatures and places you once knew from home have suddenly disappeared, so that's less that you need to worry about. There are new areas for you to look at as well.

SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY

FLORENCE / LORELEI

I can't say I exactly disagree with that assessment, but...

... ever stop to consider that it wouldn't have happened if they hadn't put us in this situation in the first place?

If I am allowed to be entirely honest, I believe Camellia wants the experiment to be a failure so they can proceed with their own projects.

So in other words, they got forced into doing a project they weren't interested in and they're trying to sabotage it so they can go back to the stuff they do care about. Sound right?

That may be the case, yes. There may be some interest in actually seeing the results and what it could mean, but...

[gestures at the last saturday]

But they pulled me and Phantom into this experiment and never once bothered to ask us any questions when we could've given them answers, so I'm getting the feeling they don't actually care that much.

Because the two of you have a bond in your home worlds, correct?

[Hmm.]

Yeah, exactly. A bond that's a hell of a lot like the one they gave us here, just without the physical pain-sharing part.

[thinking emoji]

Perhaps they believed the sharing of physical pain was different enough to not warrant talking to you?
