everybody's fine 'cause it's party time ( W5 AFTERPARTY )

After a positively thrilling game of the prisoner's dilemma, it's all over. Everyone needs to get patched up, recover and... hopefully not kill each other after everything. At some point in the cafeteria, Shizuku and Madara have taken over the kitchen- though help won't be denied completely- and leaving a large meal of noodles and whatever else they can still use from Fai and Shizuku's little shopping trip... not a lot of fresh food, but it works out. There's also plenty of coffee, a tea kettle and even hot chocolate ready. (Shizuku herself is using her ill-gotten tapioca balls for some homemade boba, hell yeah.) Team Idol may not stick around for long, but there's plenty to go around for now... and Shizuku will happily bring over some snacks from the convenience store too. And did you know that place has a milkshake machine? Because it does. Get you a milkshake, people.
But tensions are high after everything. Hopefully this doesn't become a murdergame.

Pretty nice of them to do this.

It's not all that surprising. I wouldn't say anyone here is intentionally mean-spirited.

[ yeah, sorry, friends that he's eating at drinking a lot of things here. but he's not going to wallow in what happened. even if the whole idea of betrayal is ... well. it leaves a bad taste in his mouth. ]
no subject
Let's assume that it won't be long lasting. I believe consequences about certain decisions and intentions were made clear.

[ because those feeling breeding and compounding and becoming worse. well... not great. not great at all. ]
At least most everyone was willing to work together. Things really have changed from the first week we were here.
[ a little pain with a fake bomb to ... this. almost like they're trying to turn everyone against each other to protect themselves and their partner alone. ]
no subject
[ at least wait till the last week before anyone else decides to slam the betrayal button harder!!! ]
...but they have. I know I said we should prepare ourselves for what could come, but I don't think I could have properly expected all of this.
no subject
No, not at all. There's been some strange stuff, but it really got bad this week. Guess we should be prepared for next week to be even worse.
no subject
Look at you being aware and taking things seriously about what's to come.
[ he says it in a slightly joking manner but he's honestly happy that ace isn't going to be so flippant about things. ]
no subject
I'm not just worrying about myself here.
[ not only how sabo would feel if he does something stupid, but also wanting to avoid as much bullshit for sabo, too. they've already gone through a lot. ]
no subject
Is that so?
no subject
[ and he stuffs food in his own mouth indignantly. ]
no subject
[ sabo will not be stuffing his face but will instead clean off any mess that ace has on his face from eating. ]
no subject
[ ????? ]
no subject
...well he's not going to rat himself out if ace didn't already see it, so he'll just shake his head. ]
Never mind then.
no subject
You can't just do that!
no subject
I think I just did.
no subject
[ rude af, sabo ]
no subject
No, it isn't.
no subject
[ don't give him that look while being a jerk. ]
no subject
Because I've already apologized beforehand; you just didn't realize why.
no subject
Yeah, you're supposed to tell me why.
no subject
[ he'll hold out something for ace to eat. guess casually feeding ace like this has become something routine for him...? (or a good way to deflect things.) ]
I would have expected you to already know what I could be apologizing for.
no subject
If I should know, you could just tell me to make it easier.
no subject
Nice try, Ace.
[ ...
a slight shift in tone as he pokes at the food on ace's plate. he's not taking any of it but just moving it around a little bit. his eyes will eventually wander to the mark on his wrist. ]
...am I doing too much?
no subject
but at the question, he tilts his head a little bit, confused. ]
Too much what?
