3.0 - week three

WEEK THREE

Last night might have been exhausting for any number of reasons - maybe it was the emotional

toll of dealing with those ghosts, or maybe you stayed up too late after watching Jim Shrok. Who knows, but Saturday is over, even if some of you haven’t quite left it behind and half spirits that are still hanging on, tethered to you and weighing you down…

But that’s not going to stop a new week from starting. There’s no breaks in an eight week course.

There’s very little fanfare to the start of your third week of the course, though it does seem like the fog has lifted even more. It’s a bit more of a trek down the abandoned streets of Estelline, but surely a mile is walkable? Or you could grab a bike or try to hotwire one of those cars in the mall parking lot… Whatever you plan to do this week is up to you. All you know is you've got some new locations to explore.

[ in-fucking-credible how xingqiu may just have saved himself from having to taste the worst thing his eyes have laid upon because-- ]

[ he points at him-- no, the catalyst. ]

[ Bless. Xingqiu is saved from a quagmire of epic proportions via food... ]

Oh, sure. This is yours?

[ Easily, the blue-haired male hands out the catalyst over to Flat. ]

Yep!

[ he nods, looking down at the knife with a happy smile, somewhat tinged with nostalgia. ]

Ah...you could say that it reminds me of a really good friend of mine. [ he grins, tossing the knife up in the air just slightly before catching it on its hilt. ] It's a toy knife.

[ In retrospect, it's an interesting thing to be shaped as a toy, but it can definitely be worse.

It also looks like it brings along pleasant memories, from what he can tell. ]

Did this friend of yours gift it, then?

Nope.

[ he shakes his head, chuckling a bit. ]

It's because of this that we managed to meet, I think. Don't you think that's kind of neat? It's like it was fate, almost.

Hmm, a meeting specifically ordained by fate?

I do think something like that sounds quite nice. There are many stories written about fateful meetings between others—and whether they've been ordained by something or someone for whatever reason, you can say that such tales always describes those things as memorable.

As catalysts for something greater.

[ Whatever this 'something' may be. It could even have something to do with saving the world...or simply making an unforgettable bond. ]
