[ hopefully it's not too cramped, but repurposing a tablet to project estelletube 'jim shrok FULL MOVIE part 1 of 20' is not that difficult of a task for flat.

he's managed to bring some popcorn, but that's about it.

[ Fai goes into the bathroom to wash his face, assuming that Hien is somewhere else on campus. He stops short when he spots Hien. ]

Hien...? Are you alright?

[selfconcept]

[ Hien doesn't wake. He keeps sleeping like nothing happened. He's slowly slipping further into the water though. ]

[partymagician]

[ Fai pulls him out of the water, grabbing a towel and wrapping it around Hien's shoulders before flipping the drain stopper so the water starts to drain out of the tub. ]

Hien. Wake up.

[selfconcept]

[ It's cold... that's what finally gets Hien to open his eyes. His body is starting to feel a little sore. The gauze's effects must be wearing off gradually. ]

Mm...? Fai?

[partymagician]

You fell asleep in the tub. Let's get you into some dry clothes.

[ He won't ask why Hien had his clothes on in the tub in the first place.

Fai starts to lead him out of the bathroom. ]

[selfconcept]

[ Hien would follow, but it feels like he can't even get up from the floor. ]

... Gimme a moment.

[ He tries again, but fails. ]

[ Well. ]

Take off your clothes. I'm going to grab new ones for you.

[ Fai leaves to go into their room proper, digging through Hien's drawers until he finds some clean clothes. ]

[ There are a lot of university clothes, especially of t-shirt variety. What really might help him get warm is the silver colored sweater that he received a week ago. It looks comfortable to wear.

When Fai returns, Hien is still in his drenched clothes. ]

[ Fai comes back with the sweater, some sweatpants, and fresh underwear.

He sighs when he spots Hien still in his clothes. ]

Do you need help?

[selfconcept]

No. Just leave them here. I'll change.

[ The bandages on his torso feels suffocating the longer he has it on, and since the effects seem to be wearing off, so he can take it off soon. ]

[partymagician]

...Alright.

[ Fai goes back into the room, closing the bathroom door behind him.

He changes into a hoodie and sweatpants himself and organizes some of his things. Would Hien do better if he wasn't here? ]

[ The soreness throughout his body will get stronger, but then... it doesn't. It's gone all of a sudden. Hien didn't have another gauze with him in the bathroom, so... weird.

That's why Hien gets out of the bathroom faster than expected, walking like the earlier position he was in was a lie. ]

Did you eat...?

[partymagician]

[ Suddenly the pain is gone and... hm. Weird.

He's still organizing his things when Hien comes back, just so that he has something to do with his hands and he doesn't have to look at Hien. ]

I had something small. Did you?

[selfconcept]

... No.

[ He looks at the time. ]

I slept a lot instead. Don't remember when I got back.

[partymagician]

I see.

[ ...

He doesn't know what to say to Hien. ]

I'm sure you needed the rest after everything that happened.

[selfconcept]

... Thought a bath would have been good, but then I got lazy.

[ He goes to flop on his own bed. Comfy. ]

And then I found you in the tub.

[ Fai just stands there now, staring down into his dresser.

Should he leave...? ]

[selfconcept]

Yeah.

[ If Fai is about to say something, Hien will interrupt him. ]

Are you going anywhere?

[partymagician]

...I don't know.

[ His shoulders slump ever so slightly. ]

[selfconcept]

Then can you come here?

[ Hien is half expecting Fai to reject him, but he asks anyway. Come to the bed. ]

[partymagician]

[ Honestly, Fai is at a total loss for what he wants to do, so he does walk over to Hien's bed.

He doesn't climb into it, though. ]

What is it?

[selfconcept]

[ He pats down on the space next to him on the bed. ]

[partymagician]

[ Fai gets up onto the bed, not sitting as relaxed as he's used to. He stares down at his hands in his lap. ]

...I'm sorry. I did a terrible job trying to save you.

[selfconcept]

[ ...

Hien reaches out with both hands and pulls Fai onto the space next to him. His arms wrap around him like a hug, depending if he falls or remains sitting. ]

It's fine. I'm usually not meant to be saved. I hurt you a lot too. I'm sorry.

It didn't hurt that badly. I'll heal from it just fine. Besides, you have worse injuries than I do.

[ Is he going to pretend like Hien only meant physical pain? He sure as hell is. ]

I know you were possessed. It's not your fault.
