Like last Saturday, everyone will get an announcement on their tablets; this time, the announcement is preceded with a bell of some sort before Lorelei appears on the screen again.

"Good morning, everyone. This is an announcement to let you know that today's lesson will take place starting at 8:15 tonight. Again, today's lesson will be starting at 8:15. Please meet at the lower campus exit near the lecture by 8:00pm; Florence will be waiting for you there.

If you have a bag for some snacks and, perhaps, an item you can use for self-defense in the case of an emergency, please arrive with those things on you. We will provide you with an overview of what to expect when you arrive at 8pm.

You have the day to prepare, ask each other what the hell is happening -- Florence and Lorelei do not seem to be available, strangely enough. There's a lot to take in with the information you have now. But before you know it... night falls.

[ HE WILL ABSOLUTELY EXAMINE THE STATUES because he's never seen ghosts like this before. Or y'know EVER.

Will this be his first time seeing one in person??? He's kind of excited.

He eagerly takes a look at the first statue. Is there anything he notices right away? ]

[The first thing is probably that it looks incredibly realistic - yes, it's a ghost, but it looks more like a real being than a replication.

The second thing is, of course, the appearance of the ghost itself. The chain attached to it looks incredibly heavy - if a real, living thing had it attached to them, it would be impossible to move.

There is also an odd, unsettling familiarity to it.]

[ What kind of chain? What is the chain anchored to? And can he place the familiarity in any way? ]

[It's a thick, metal chained attached to the ghost with a shackle. It ends on a broken link, but it's so long that several feet are coiled on the ground underneath the ghost.

The familiarity is something he can't quite place, but it does seem like it's tied to something more recent.]

[ Guess he'll need to reflect more on the familiarity bit - later.

He nudges the chain to see if it is indeed as heavy as it looks. At the same time, he studies the statue a little closer. What does it appear to be made of? Is it just a motionless ghost or is it made of stone like it's been medusa'd in place? ]

[The chain is not very heavy at all, actually. In fact, his attempts at nudging it goes right through the chain.

So, yeah. This is not a ghost made of stone.]

[ He freezes - then backs away immediately. ]

These - these aren't just statues.

[ He tries to touch all the other statues, just to confirm. ]

[Touching the statues will confirm his suspicions - his hand passes through all of them.]

If he looks around, is there any hints as to what's keeping them still? A seal?? An off button???? ]

[ Not a seal of any kind, but...

He may notice that since the time he started investigating them, there's a little more color to them. They look a little more vibrant. ]
