Like last Saturday, everyone will get an announcement on their tablets; this time, the announcement is preceded with a bell of some sort before Lorelei appears on the screen again.

"Good morning, everyone. This is an announcement to let you know that today's lesson will take place starting at 8:15 tonight. Again, today's lesson will be starting at 8:15. Please meet at the lower campus exit near the lecture by 8:00pm; Florence will be waiting for you there.

If you have a bag for some snacks and, perhaps, an item you can use for self-defense in the case of an emergency, please arrive with those things on you. We will provide you with an overview of what to expect when you arrive at 8pm.

You have the day to prepare, ask each other what the hell is happening -- Florence and Lorelei do not seem to be available, strangely enough. There's a lot to take in with the information you have now. But before you know it... night falls.

[It’s 8’clock, but Florence is at the lower campus exit several minutes early. They wait impassively for everyone to show up, glancing at each student as they arrive for a moment. Once it hits 8:15 they begin to speak.]

This lesson will be quite different from last week. I will not be able to accompany you, so if you have any questions, please ask them now. It is also unlikely you will be able to contact us on your tablets when you reach your destination.

Your goal of this lesson is an investigation. There is more information on this brochure…

[They go around the gathered students, handing out a sheet of paper to everyone. While they said it would have more information… Does it, really?]

Please be careful while off campus.

There is a bus that will take you to your destination. It departs in fifteen minutes, and please remember that participation is the best way to guarantee passing the class.

[And with that, they fall silent. You don’t have much time to ask questions, so you might want to take what little time you can before you get shooed to the bus stop.]

Are we really going to save the residents?

[ Does this mean Hien can finally let loose on something and nobody will complain? He hopes so, because he's been needing to release some stress anyway. He took a knife from the cafeteria, though that's obviously concealed and the grappling hook gun. Though in all aspects, he seems to be calm with a small backpack, looking around to see if he needs to do anything before getting on the bus. ]

Well, now he’s planted there fiddling with whatever’s in his pockets and looking extra unsettled and annoyed. The one thing he’s learned from his CYOA life is apparently just wearing generic clothes for weird circumstances, so he’s in some hoodie or whatever.]

He also has a backpack on, filled with snacks, a few things from the health room, and the gauze he got this week just in case. ]

Being told "don't worry" makes me actually worry.

Well, you haven't offered combat classes and we've been clumsier than usual lately - if I armed myself, I'd be liable to hurt myself more than anything.

I meant in person. Anyone can type stuff on a flyer even when they're the most emotionally dead person in the world.

While we cannot guarantee a lack of danger, your ability to problem solve and work together will be the largest asset for this assignment.

[Is that reassuring? They certainly seem to be sincere about that, for as sincere as their monotone voice can be.]
