After a positively thrilling game of the prisoner's dilemma, it's all over. Everyone needs to get patched up, recover and... hopefully not kill each other after everything. At some point in the cafeteria, Shizuku and Madara have taken over the kitchen- though help won't be denied completely- and leaving a large meal of noodles and whatever else they can still use from Fai and Shizuku's little shopping trip... not a lot of fresh food, but it works out. There's also plenty of coffee, a tea kettle and even hot chocolate ready. (Shizuku herself is using her ill-gotten tapioca balls for some homemade boba, hell yeah.) Team Idol may not stick around for long, but there's plenty to go around for now... and Shizuku will happily bring over some snacks from the convenience store too. And did you know that place has a milkshake machine? Because it does. Get you a milkshake, people.

But tensions are high after everything. Hopefully this doesn't become a murdergame.

[ he will never skip a meal especially a free one; if he ever skips a meal then we can for sure say that something is wrong with him. ]

No, not really. All of it looks good, which by the way, thank you and Madara for doing all of this.

Of course. We managed to come out pretty alright, so... we wanted to try and give everyone a nice high point after all of that.

( it's not too late in the day... hm. )

Will you be staying up any more or...? I know quite a few people want a nap.

[ sabo won't make a comment on her desire to give everyone a high point in all of this beyond a soft smile that he gives her. he is truly glad that nothing more happened to them. ]

I tend to stay up fairly late, and after the events of today, I don't think I will be able to rest for a bit.

[ a tilt of his head. ]

How about you, Shizuku? I hope you won't be pushing yourself.

Nooo, as soon as I've eaten, I'm sitting down... or going to bed. One or the other.

( not including the time dedicated to ensuring madara is okay. )

But since you'll be awake...

( coffee it is! let her make you a cup, sabo. )

Good. There should only be so many of us who end up pushing ourselves.

[ not that he's going to name names since it is probably going to be very obvious who falls under those categories. he'll see how she'll make him coffee and offer her a smile for it. ]

... You know. This is going to sound strange, I'm sure... but we actually were hoping that you would betray us.

he'll be happily be sipping his coffee up until shizuku drops that bomb on him which has him just pausing for a moment to look at her. that... hm. ]

You were..?

[ putting down the cup. he won't ask why because he can reason why but also. hmm. this is...something to mull over. ]

Mmmhm. We all agreed on it, even.

( but their group didn't. and while she's grateful that they didn't get so severely electrocuted, sabo's group still did too. )

... We should have communicated that somehow, but we only agreed on it after the ability to do so easily closed.

I know the matter of betrayal was also on our minds after the previous two rounds. Given our condition and given our position... I think we were all but ready to betray the next team that we came across.

[ except you know. they came across a team of Goods who were ready to put their neck on the line for them. ]

However, it was also very easy for us to ultimately decide to not. It seemed to be an abuse of your trust in us, which is the nature of a betrayal but...

[ they, uh, had targets? in mind?? unspoken ones. ]

... It was easier to do so against people who've done the same already, wasn't it?

( she's... not sure how she feels about this entire day. but this much, she thinks she can at least understand the logic of it. )

In a way yes. I'd allow room for explanation depending on the situation and what was at stake.

[ but given what they were all dealing with? it didn't quite make a lot of sense to betray. well, then again, after his team took so many L's there was some debate. ]

And we did; normally I wouldn't have bothered too much but I'm not the only one who hurts.

[ re. if he's hurting then ace is hurting and he can't have that. ]

Neither do I, but we've made it this far. I'd hope that people wouldn't end up stumbling now.
