05 - week five

WEEK FIVE

Come Sunday morning, the portals around Estelline fade away, but not all of the oddities hanging around disappear so quickly. The recreations of your dreams and memories are still around, ever changing and shifting. Whatever it is that brought these things here hasn’t ended, not yet.

You don’t have time to worry about all of that, though, even if you know you should exercise caution once two of you found yourselves on the bad end of a monster’s claws. The course still isn’t over, though, even if the portals changed lesson plans. Everything continues on, with new places to explore as the fog pushes back once again. This week still feels a little more like what you’re familiar with, though, after Saturday’s lack of lessons.

Be that as it may, Shizuku would kill me with big, sad looks if I got struck by lightning, so I'm not sticking around to find out how bad this gets.

My taste buds have adjusted a good bit in the past few weeks - this will either prove their growth or destroy them for good. What a thrill to find out which.

Time to actually give the cursed Faygo a try though! One sip later, the face she makes is somewhere between 'bit into a lemon' and 'boundless fascination'. ]

This is... simultaneously the worst thing I have ever tasted and it makes me crave more. Truly makes me understand how tobacco addictions might have started.

[Idia's palate is so blown out from sweet on top of sweet and he gladly welcomes another tasteless warrior to the fray. Besides, foodies were pretentious! Well, maybe he'd like their content more if they described things like Miach did, roleplaying from a future apocalypse and analyzing modern day snack food.]

It's caffeine-free... so that's one fewer addictive substance... it couldn't be the perfect drink, sadly.
