3.0 - week three
WEEK THREE
Last night might have been exhausting for any number of reasons - maybe it was the emotional
toll of dealing with those ghosts, or maybe you stayed up too late after watching Jim Shrok. Who knows, but Saturday is over, even if some of you haven’t quite left it behind and half spirits that are still hanging on, tethered to you and weighing you down…
But that’s not going to stop a new week from starting. There’s no breaks in an eight week course.
There’s very little fanfare to the start of your third week of the course, though it does seem like the fog has lifted even more. It’s a bit more of a trek down the abandoned streets of Estelline, but surely a mile is walkable? Or you could grab a bike or try to hotwire one of those cars in the mall parking lot… Whatever you plan to do this week is up to you. All you know is you've got some new locations to explore.
As always, Florence and Lorelei are available.
SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY
TASK LIST
( OOC Note: Luci, Mutsu, and Mae will each receive a small roomba! Congrats on the successful egg drop. It's a tiny little friend that cleans extra well, though this also means its trash compartment is a little smaller so it'll need to be cleaned more often. )

[ Rolling his eye, but hey it's not like he's the one that threw it for once. ]
Yeah, duh. But what kind of funny are we talking here? And what do I get out of it? [ He's thinking... Horsey ride? ]
no subject
[ Is that hard or not? He'll let Luci decide. ]
Want another massage or something else?
no subject
[ Without an ounce of irony. But he clears his throat and starts to mimic Flo's voice. He's better at more than just receptionists, listen to him go. It's as flat as can be. ]
The town idiot is getting ready to take his wench to the ball. First he goes to rent some duds because all his clothes suck, but there’s a long line at the shop and it takes foooorever.
Next, he has to get flowers, so he heads over to the florist and there’s a huge flower line there too. He waits forever but eventually gets the flowers.
Then he heads out to rent a carriage. Unfortunately, there’s a large line at the rental office, but he’s patient and gets the job done.
Finally, the day of the ball comes. The two are dancing happily and his wench is having a great time. When the song is over, she asks him to get her some punch, so he heads over to the punch table and there’s no punchline.
[ Said completely straight faced. Credit to anon, but I medievalized it. After a moment holding that straight face, Luci coughs. ]
Ta-da.
no subject
[ He doesn't laugh, but it was very entertaining to him. Thanks for that, Luci. ]
Okay, I can be a bipedal horse. Let's go.
no subject
[ Carefully crossing his arms as he sits up and scoots to the edge of his minion. It's like a little cat seat. ]
no subject
[ Is that a better deal? Because he kinda doesn't wanna go all "you can't tame me" at Luci. He's just a little meow meow. From hell. ]
no subject
[ Now he sounds interested. ]
no subject
[ He doesn't see the harm in that. ]
Just don't pull my hair and we're good.
[ He holds out his hands to Luci so that he can plop him onto his own head. ]
no subject
[ Luci takes the invite. He could climb up on his own if he wanted to. But how convenient. ]
no subject
Where you wanna go first?
no subject
[ Spoken from above, with a not-gentle pat to the head from s tiny not-cat hand. Also Luci means the overfull compartment. It's packed with lint and debris, but also a pack of matches, cigarettes, and his keycard in there somewhere. ]
no subject
Fine, fine.
[ He picks up the roomba, goes to the common area, dumps everything into the trash and picks the pack of matches, cigarettes, and keycard back up. There. Ankle-stabber is clean now. ]
It's kinda funny how your stuff is tailored for your size.
no subject
[ Even in clothes. But he laughed more at the difference in the size between his stuff and the next size up. Not that he'd worn much of any of it, but the inclusivity of all that still feels foreign around all these humanoids. He half expected his trombone would show up bigger than him. ]
Little tryhard, though. Who do they think they're fooling?
[ He flattens down comfortably, resting more like a cat and wrapping his tail around to blend in and stay put. But he does lean forward to carefully watch his minion clean his minion. At least he doesn't pull on Hien's hair. ]
Think I can make it so he doesn't eat all that crap?
no subject
[ Kitty on his head... he enjoys this. But then he goes on over to Luci's room to drop off ankle-stabber. ]
Oh, I have an idea. You like thrills?
no subject
[ Mumbled into his hair. But his ears perk up the mention of thrills. Not bothering to hide his interest-- ]
What kind of thrills are we talking?
no subject
[ Parkour!!! ]
no subject
[ Luci is just avoiding activity and doesn't sound like he expects Hien to run off. But at the same time, he hunkers down and pats Hien's head like a horse anyway. ]
no subject
Of course I'm gonna be the one to do it. Though if you could do it too, that would be pretty cool, honestly.
[ Luci the parkouring devil cat. Amazing. He'd pay to see it. Anyway, he gets out his grappling hook gun and starts making his way outside. ]
no subject
You'd love using that thing in Hell.
[ He resists an excited death wiggle but besides his fun getting caught jumping off the roof, this would be pretty close. ]
no subject
[ He lifts the hook gun. ]
Are there a lot of landscapes in hell that allow that sort of thing? Or are you saying that it's more fun to shoot it at people?
no subject
Way harder than doing it in this reality.
[ Luci goes quiet after that grumble. He can't flatten himself like back home, but he's sure he can a little more if Hien's any good. Ears forward, ready. ]
no subject
[ But he understands how that could hurt. A lot. Anyway, he shoots the hook up so that he can climb the rope up eventually to the top of the dorm building. It doesn't take long, and Hien seems well-practiced. Maybe that will help Luci feel reassured?
But then he reels the gun back once he reaches the top, walks a short distance away, and dashes—leaping off the building. He shoots the hook to latch onto the next building over and lands on the wall on his feet. Phew. They're almost parallel to the ground. ]
no subject
[ Luci laughs excitedly even as Hien might feel his whole little body tense down on his head. He wishes he could squish down even more at first, but he decides this is almost better, air over his fur.
Almost like flying. God, he misses his wings. When Hien pauses, he doesn't move closer to ask-- ]
So, this like your hobby? Or you get that bored here already?
no subject
[ With how parallel they are to the ground, he starts walking up the wall in the same position with the help of the hook gun. ]
Sometimes you just gotta make your own fun around here.
