02 - week two

WEEK TWO

When the glitter settles and everyone returns to their dorms - or wherever they intend to sleep for the night, if you’re planning on sleeping at all - your first week of school officially ends. Perhaps it was better than you expected, perhaps it was worse.

Hopefully you learned a bit more about teamwork and school spirit.

Still, this course is going to run for longer than a full week, and come Sunday morning you’re still exactly as you were when you settled down for the night. Still in Estelline, still with that mark on your wrist, still connected to your partner. There are some changes, though. The bookstore has received quite a few books, and those of you who added to the bulletin board and pep rally tasks in the first week will find an envelope taped to their dorm door (or themselves, if they spent the night elsewhere). Inside of the envelope is some kind of voucher! Furthermore, the common area is covered in a bunch of glitter.

Also, there are a ton of eggs in the kitchen – at least 10 dozens.

Florence or Lorelei are still available, should you wish to speak to them.

Finally, you've got some new locations to explore.

OOC NOTE

OOC: Anyone who performed in the Pep Rally (Sabo, Madara, Riku, Shizuku, Herlock, Idia, Flat, Miach) task will be able to redeem a voucher for a prize with one of the NPCs. This can be handwaved, and the prize selection is below.

-Single-serve coffee machine wither a selection of creamer. Comes with packs of coffee beans.
-Popcorn maker and kernels.
-High-quality tea kettle with a selection of just as high-quality tea.
-Carbonation machine (think Sodastream, etc) with flavored syrup.

Any coffee, tea, popcorn, etc. will last characters up to two weeks.

Anyone who participated in the Bulletin Board task will receive a voucher for your choice of two pairs colorful socks with cute animal designs. (Worry frog design available.)

[He gets it. She probably got some minor dings from how hard he was trying to actually function, too.]

It's been a day. I took it a little easy, I guess.

[He grins.]

I'm glad you were able to relax some. Did it help?

( his smile makes her smile so easily- it helps, of course, that she's a naturally smiley person, but...

[He was a nosy nosy bastard. In fact...

He pulls something out of his pocket: a key. Then he winks and puts a shushing finger to his lips.]

We ought to check out the jewelry store.

( shizuku gasps before giggling into her hands- how devious! )

Oh my gosh, where did you find that? ... Well, I wouldn't mind going-

( nope, still giggling. )

[Taking one of her hands in his and putting the key away, he pulls her into an embrace. Then he settles his lips right by her ear and whispers:]

There's some interesting stuff behind the jewelry shop. I'm taking some people to look at it tomorrow, but you're not going to believe it.

[And then he pulls back.]

Yep! I'll get you a biiig necklace or something! Whatever your heart desires!

Oh! Like when Sabo and I were looking around too?

( --it couldn't be another person, could it? sage surely would have known by then if there was someone else, and shizuku would like to think she'd have said something if there was someone else surviving in the mall.

We'll have to take a look, won't we? I didn't look into the jewelry store too much.

I guess you could say you guys inspired me!

[But enough about that in the dorms. Now that he knows there's surveillance going on of Lorelei, he's not putting it past Lorelei to be surveilling them.]

We'll have to go shopping! Oh noooo, I guess that's another date!

Ah- ehe, alright. Lead the way, then?

( setting the penguin down on her bed, shizuku scoots off the bed and offers her hand. )

What, right now?

[He laughs.]

No, no, it can wait until tomorrow. Not that I'm going to pass up two dates in a row for nothing. You gotta know it huuurts me to say no!

[cheerfuldays]

Well you weren't clear!

( she 'protests', but she's laughing too, scootching closer to lean against him. )

Ah, poor Mama. Whatever will he do?

[Just hug her, apparently.]

You're gonna make my heart stop. Are you this close with your friends back home?

They aren't quite as affectionate as you are, but yes.

( but hugs are great, why don't mmj hug more... madara spoils her. )

I like how many hugs you give, though.
