02 - week two
WEEK TWO
When the glitter settles and everyone returns to their dorms - or wherever they intend to sleep for the night, if you’re planning on sleeping at all - your first week of school officially ends. Perhaps it was better than you expected, perhaps it was worse.
Hopefully you learned a bit more about teamwork and school spirit.
Still, this course is going to run for longer than a full week, and come Sunday morning you’re still exactly as you were when you settled down for the night. Still in Estelline, still with that mark on your wrist, still connected to your partner. There are some changes, though. The bookstore has received quite a few books, and those of you who added to the bulletin board and pep rally tasks in the first week will find an envelope taped to their dorm door (or themselves, if they spent the night elsewhere). Inside of the envelope is some kind of voucher! Furthermore, the common area is covered in a bunch of glitter.
Also, there are a ton of eggs in the kitchen – at least 10 dozens.
Florence or Lorelei are still available, should you wish to speak to them.
Finally, you've got some new locations to explore.
SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY

That then gets interrupted by a voice - with that same recording of a recording quality to it as the trombone - that should at least be familiar to Tamamori.]
So, is this what you get off on?
[Well, hopefully Tamamori recognizes Kawase's voice...]
no subject
Hien recognizes the voice, but only because he's their neighbor. His look is rather flat. If there's another track, he skips to it. ]

The next recording seems to be dated to just before their arrival.]
Don't get too attached to them, though I suppose you've already got that part covered... The roombas, check.... Now, I'll try to monitor what I can, but you can see more than I do. Therefore, you must remember, Florence: You are to report to me, not to –
[But that's also the last recording that's actually clear. Every other file seems to be damaged in some way.]
Investigation over
Alright, everyone. You heard that. Everything was basically in Miss Instructor's point of view. She was forced to listen to Flat's trombone on the 26th, she was giving directions to Florence about the pep rally, presumably hearing whatever Eiichi said on the call with her, and another set of instructions to Florence on... the day before we arrived. That sounds about right.
[ Hm. ]
Based on the other stuff I heard, this is most likely linked with the tracking thing that was given to "Lorelei" by her earrings. It's been recording shit around her and whoever had this phone had access to it.
[ That's Hien's conclusion, so now others are free to discuss. ]
no subject
[Is it informative for him to drag his roommate, maybe, maybe not. Tamamori squints at the phone curiously.]
Sooo... somebody's controlling things from the shadows and already screwed up a week into this? That's so cliché...
no subject
May be cliché, but it helped us understand some things. I'd say that's a win for us.
[ Hien is only doing this out of his curiosity though. Whether it's helpful or not, he doesn't care. ]
no subject
Isn't this one of those things where if they told you, they'd have to kill you? Hmmm.
no subject
[ goodbye tamamori... ]
no subject
[Is he taking it seriously, hard to tell. He's just yelling about it.]
no subject
[ If anything, he thinks Tamamori's behavior is funny. ]
Guess it'll be just me here then. It was nice knowing you, Tamatama.
no subject
[Was that last part necessary?? No. Is he still adding it? Yes.]
My name is Tamamori, you know. [huffs] Anyway, I'm not easy to kill either. In fact, I'm more like a cockroach than most people I know!
no subject
[ A return name introduction? What's that? He starts walking over to Tamamori... ]
no subject
[ But who’s to say they aren’t in some other part of the city now?
Or still in the city at all? ]
What a shame I didn’t run into them.

[ Hmmm. ]
You got a plan already?

[ … ]
Or maybe they do.

no subject
[ Hmmm.
He sighs. ]
If this had to do with magic, I’d know exactly what to do!
[ But alas, he has no helpful experience with tech. ]
no subject
[ And definitely not warping them to their respective worlds, right? ]
Because that's what I'd do. Too bad a concept is considered a magic.
no subject
[ Although would it even matter at that point? ]
no subject
[ Whether physically, magically, or politically. ]
no subject
[ Like not bringing people back to life, for one.
He reaches out to pinch Hien's side. ]
