02 - week two

WEEK TWO

When the glitter settles and everyone returns to their dorms - or wherever they intend to sleep for the night, if you’re planning on sleeping at all - your first week of school officially ends. Perhaps it was better than you expected, perhaps it was worse.

Hopefully you learned a bit more about teamwork and school spirit.

Still, this course is going to run for longer than a full week, and come Sunday morning you’re still exactly as you were when you settled down for the night. Still in Estelline, still with that mark on your wrist, still connected to your partner. There are some changes, though. The bookstore has received quite a few books, and those of you who added to the bulletin board and pep rally tasks in the first week will find an envelope taped to their dorm door (or themselves, if they spent the night elsewhere). Inside of the envelope is some kind of voucher! Furthermore, the common area is covered in a bunch of glitter.

Also, there are a ton of eggs in the kitchen – at least 10 dozens.

Florence or Lorelei are still available, should you wish to speak to them.

Finally, you've got some new locations to explore.

OOC NOTE

OOC: Anyone who performed in the Pep Rally (Sabo, Madara, Riku, Shizuku, Herlock, Idia, Flat, Miach) task will be able to redeem a voucher for a prize with one of the NPCs. This can be handwaved, and the prize selection is below.

-Single-serve coffee machine wither a selection of creamer. Comes with packs of coffee beans.
-Popcorn maker and kernels.
-High-quality tea kettle with a selection of just as high-quality tea.
-Carbonation machine (think Sodastream, etc) with flavored syrup.

Any coffee, tea, popcorn, etc. will last characters up to two weeks.

Anyone who participated in the Bulletin Board task will receive a voucher for your choice of two pairs colorful socks with cute animal designs. (Worry frog design available.)

[ Thankfully that's not an exact number. Clumsiness is on the rise, but after a hopefully reasonable amount of time, there's a knock on the door to Room 8. ]

Delivery! I did not get lost... but I am colored in glitter so that my warning. It's still out there from Saturday!

[ Hieh is still in bed, his entire body covered in a blanket like a teru teru bozu doll. You can't even see his neck. The door is held open by a rock.

But then Grimnir mentions glitter..

Hien steps out of the bed, trips on the blanket and falls. He gets up,trips on the blanket again, and by now his head is at the door and his body on the floor. He doesnt want to get up anymore. ]

Thanks... just dropping it off will be good... also please take a shower.

[ He peeked inside but wasnt quite sure what to make of it, at first. He also didn't want to take a step into the room in case he spread the craft plague to another, so he stepped back and attempted to be polite.

Leaving someone in that state does not feel polite... But he can uh, reach out to set the painkillers as close as he can to Hien. ]

Ah! you're the one who saved me at the pep rally! Thank you again.

On the way here, I slipped, hit a shelf, and somehow the shelf had, among other things that fell off to batter me, more glitter. I would say it was rather unfortunate, but you seem in worse shape.

[ The guy who almost drowned in foam bubbles seems like an earnest guy.

But upon hearing all that, he makes a Face. ]

Wow... that's some real bad luck. I've been tripping everywhere too and that's not something that normally happens.

[ Even when he's hungover. He'd like to think he has a good sense of balance at least!! At this rate, someone is going to dojiko-style into someone and fall together. ]

Maybe you should take a painkiller too.

I suppose it's in the air... or perhaps what we ate last night. I don't know the phrase.

[ At least it wasn't in the alcohol! Upon the suggestion, and some though... yeah he'll pop a pill. It's not the first time since his partner came in here with an arrow wound... ]

Should I... feed you or just leave the jar open? My hands are glitter-free, I assure you!

[ You know what. Grimnir is cute. Who wouldn't want to be fed by a cute boy? ]

[ He's still on the floor, but opens his mouth anyway. ]

[ You suggested this, Grimnir... He flails a bit, but composes himself to feed him a painkiller. Oh! He got the water too, since it's not a good idea to have medication without it? (Also Hien is hungover). ]

[ Hien nearly chokes on whatever amount of water that went down the wrong windpipe and his face is wet too. This is fine. He actually doesn't look mad—just more tired. ]

... Close enough.

I'm sorry! I'm really, really sorry...

[ Maybe he could use the blanket to wipe up? Grimnir will motion to uh, unravel him. ]

Though when Grimnir tries to unravel the blanket, it does not come unraveled. Hien holds onto the end inside so that it doesn't undo itself. ]

Just leave it like that. I'll be fine. I appreciate your efforts.

[ It does look it, for what it's worth! ]

Yeah. I feel like I'm getting healed from my excessive pain every second.

[ Not really, but he does like the comfort the blanket provides. ]

[ He sounds serious, but that's his usual tone. ]

I-I'll have to decline that kind offer, because I don't want to get glitter on your blanket.
