Congratulations! You survived the first week of Personal Enrichment Class! Or at least, your body did if you feel like astral projecting. It's time to mingle with your fellow students after the Saturday lesson. Maybe get revenge. Or maybe you're going to your room right away. Either way, it's free time! Let loose. Go wild.

But there's Shin to consider. His pain-sharing with Shin does a lot to curb Sholmes' willingness to take risks that may harm himself, really]
Now, gaze upon me cutting the wrong wires while disabling this bomb.
[He says that and randomly takes the green and red wires, pulling and ripping it apart with a hand. It takes just a couple seconds for the wires to appear back, growing almost instantly, in the blink of an eye]
Fascinating, indeed.

Indeed. If they could do this on a larger scale, I doubt there would be need for the rule on tampering with school property. I wonder what the limitations are?
[Would they always grow back in the correct configuration? What if he destroyed more at once? Could the system run out of energy to do that? Hm.]
no subject
[Sholmes apparently went for the far extreme of destruction instead of, like, breaking the couch or something]
There must be a size limitation.
[That's his theory, at least. Too bad it can't be tested without breaking rules flagrantly!]

[Phantom twitches like he wants to poke things again. On the other hand, if Sholmes shoves his hand away one more time, he may have to bite him. He's debating the energy investment here.]
no subject
Less obvious, most likely! This would have been a mediocre test if the bomb could be tampered with by taking out of it any part of it!
[Or maybe it would have exploded, making it an automatic loss]
no subject
Perhaps. Although surely our instructor would have chosen to grade such an action as a failure, given the intent of the exercise. And opening the bomb would have taken longer than solving those childish puzzles.
[Says man who was absolutely not slightly panicking during the exercise, nope.]

[As usual Sholmes had been doing shenanigans while doing his tasks right, and as a reward Tamamori snatched his hat and smacked him with it. Sholmes found it absolutely hilarious]

Considering the shocks they threatened us with for such careless mistakes, I very much doubt any of your teammates would have allowed you to get that far.

I would have convinced Ms. Lorelei their futile attempts to put a stop to me proved their capacity to use teamwork, even if they ultimately failed to prevent me from doing anything. It would have counted as a success.
[Someone sounds like he has a lot of faith in his capacity to appeal at people]
no subject
...And if you failed to do that, and the result was - what was it, again? Death? Grievous injury? Mental trauma?
[No shenanigans this man is a menace.]
no subject
[Which holds true for the most part, except when he doesn't deactivate timebombs until he's done fooling around, the jackass.
Still, he steps aside, his voice taking a bit of a more serious tone than usual]
Which is why I didn't actually even try to do such a thing. Were I the only one in danger, I wouldn't have hesitated, but I cannot risk anything when I have Mr. Nouzen to consider. The others being in proximity would have been an issue too.
[Sholmes nudges the false bomb]
I haven't even attempted to manipulate the glitter containers while you're standing right there, have I?
[Point he makes to prove that despite everything he does have reservations about getting people involved if he can avoid it. Caveat being if, because if he has to, he's going to scheme, lie and manipulate friends and strangers alike for his own plans without hesitation]
no subject
[Which is good, because exciting engineering toy or not, if Sholmes touched those glitter containers again Phantom would be out of here faster than a cat sighting a cucumber.]
Their system working as they intended, I'm sure. Even a truly reckless person still has the burden of their partner, which provides teams an incentive to keep an eye on each other.
[Well, it's good to know Sholmes isn't entirely a menace, anyway.]
no subject
[Rideaux and Kresnik comes to mind, but they're not the only ones. Phantom and Marcus are another pair that, in his opinion, are prevented from being worse thanks to Lorelei's pairing, haha]

That is the nature of the intended "improvement," after all. She went through some trouble to avoid some of the more obvious possible disruptions to this class.
[Short of, well, maybe not bringing in people who want each other dead.]
