[ well, after everyone had their encounter either ghostbusting or being ghostbusted, and once returned to the campus, flat thinks that it's a great idea to wind down with-- ]

I FOUND A BOOTLEG COPY OF THE SHREK MOVIE. LET'S WATCH IT @ THE KARAOKE PLACE! BRING YOUR OWN SNACKS!!!!

[ hopefully it's not too cramped, but repurposing a tablet to project estelletube 'jim shrok FULL MOVIE part 1 of 20' is not that difficult of a task for flat.

he's managed to bring some popcorn, but that's about it.

I think it's close enough, so... good morning!

[ cheerfully chirping back at fai, flat sits down next to him on the grass. ]

Are you stargazing?

[partymagician]

[ He honestly appreciates the cheerfulness right now. ]

For as long as I can. It's nice to look at the stars, isn't it? Relaxing.

[ For him, at least. ]

Ah, me, too.

[ he looks up at the stars, smiling warmly, almost nostalgically, towards them. ]

Are the stars in the other worlds different?

[partymagician]

They are. Every world has had different stars.

[ He looks back up at them. ]

I kind of like it.

[escardos]

Uwah, that seems like so much fun~

[ with that, he flops down on the grass next to fai. ]

Do you ever think about the other worlds? Would you visit them again, if you could?

[partymagician]

Absolutely! Some of those world were really welcoming, so it'd be nice to go back and explore a little more.

[escardos]

Uwah, that'd be nice...

[ ... ]

Hey, can you tell me more about that girl? The one without the memories.

[partymagician]

Ah, Sakura?

[ His face noticeably lights up, much like a parent's would at the mention of their children. ]

What would you like to know about her?

[escardos]

Anything! I'm not picky. Even how you met her is fine.

[partymagician]

She was still asleep when we first met, so I’ll just tell you a little about her instead.

[ And so he doesn’t have to talk about why he really started traveling. ]

It took a while for her to really grow into her personality again, but when she did, she was adorable. Her smile could light up a room and her energy was unmatched. Everyone liked being around her.

[escardos]

Oh, that's incredible. A very friendly person, that's always nice.

[ which brings another question for flat... if she was so friendly and likeable... ]

Why were her memories taken from her in the first place?

[partymagician]

[ Fai has a vague idea why she has no memories, but— ]

I've got no clue. I believe she entered a certain place and all of her memories left her in a rush of feathers, scattering to different worlds.

[escardos]

Woah, really?

[ flat doesn't look scared or even surprised, but more like...curious? ]

What kind of world is that? A world where every memory becomes a tangible object? Or, well, I guess you could call souvenirs that, no? Or mementos. But still!

[partymagician]

Hmm... it's more like Sakura's magic is so powerful that her memories dispersed along with her magic, if that makes sense. Those feathers are pure concentrated magical energy that contain her memories.

[ Of course there's more behind it, but he doesn't want to explain clones and big plans... ]

There are worlds where things such as memories can be transferred into objects, however.

[escardos]

Oh, that makes sense!

[ he nods, happily following along with fai's explanations. ]

I mean, can't you do that in your world? I think that would actually be pretty easy.

[partymagician]

I could do it, but it's a relatively complicated spell. You also have to have enough magic power to ensure that you're transferring the right things.

[ It's a lot of work, so he hasn't really tried. ]

I could see a lot of unintended consequences coming from any mistakes.
