[ Wednesday leads Mae and Luci over to the library. If they haven't explored it before, everything will be brand new - but that doesn't mean they may not be able to spot any oddities. It's just them, though. Let's see how much they can uncover.

[Ah yeah, investigating libraries. She's totally done this before (or rather, she followed Bea around making stupid comments and mispronouncing microfiche).

[ Luci has probably wandered in here before. But not long enough for a proper invest until now. So, anything flashy to notice? Otherwise, he'll start at the opposite side of wherever Mae is at. ]
[ [ Both Luci and Mae will notice that in one of the aisles, a handful of books are sticking out from the shelves. Two on the left, two on the right. Their spines are sticking out a little too much to have been a simple case of putting a book back haphazardly. ]

Guessing there isn't anything else abnormal for him to notice about these books --are they all pulled out the same distance, is there any clearer pictures once the last book is removed? (in order, presumably? Since he'll try to smack Mae with his tail if she doesn't). ]

[ While there doesn't seem to be anything off about the books themselves, when they're removed, they will reveal tiny little buttons on the shelves. They're so minute that they're hard to see unless you really inspect the bookcase carefully. To clarify: What order are the books being pulled out in? (only one tag is needed for this.) ]
[The books were pulled out R1 -> L2 -> R3 -> L4 because Luci hit Mae when she tried to change order.]

Anyway, the pulls will unlock something interesting. The floor two tiles away from them clicks and slides open, revealing a passageway of sorts! There's a set of stairs they can walk down, and a dim light coming from below. ]

[ Peering down, at the very least, will give Mae a view of what appears to be some kind of small den with a round wooden table and candlelight. It's a little dark in there otherwise.
There are also a bunch of books surrounding the table, stacked in a neat, organized fashion. A mug sits on top of the table, beside a notebook. ]

[ It isn't a diary, per se, but it's got a lot of writing in it. A lot of it is numbers and equations that are probably hard to understand, as well as some scientific jargon...but they'll at least be able to make out the words inter dimensional travel.
